People are surfing, researching and checking their emails with mobile devices. They are also shopping online and using social media as well. If a person goes to a website, which is not presently responsive or mobile friendly, it simply cannot be viewed properly on mobile devices.
Menus do not work properly and endless scrolling and panning are required. This will result in the users leaving in frustration and believing that you do not care about their needs or becoming a potential client.
6. Mobile Friendly is now a Google Page Ranking Factor
Google ranks and indexes websites, they use a number of factors to do this. The quality of content and how often it gets updated are just a few ways. On April 21st, 2015, Google started ranking websites according to whether they are mobile friendly or not.
So, if your website is presently not mobile friendly, it will be penalized in the future, making it much more difficult to find in an organic search.

Consumers have spoken, mobile devices are their preferred method to view the Internet now. Businesses that are up-to-date and had already made their websites mobile friendly, clearly have a competitive advantage in the digital landscape.
A considerable amount of businesses still has not caught up with the rising mobile device usage trend.
